By public transport:
We are also easily accessible by public transport. Line 48 from Lemmer to Heerenveen, or vice versa. In consultation with the driver, you can get out in front of the farm or at the Westersedijk or Vierhuistervaart stop. Plan your trip, click here. If you are with a group, help you arrange public transport.
Rent a classic bus:
If you are with a group you can choose to rent an old-timer bus. This goes through the Nov Museum in Ouwsterhaule.

By boat:
We can be reached by boat via the Tjonger and the Tjeukemeer, for that you can enter the Vierhuistervaart / Boerensloot. From the Tjonger you can moor your boat in front of the bridge (H 2.35 m) where you can sail after the Tjeukemeer. If you come from Lake Tjeukemeer you can moor your boat after the same bridge. With a higher boat you can moor your boat at marina Fjouwerhûs.

There are sufficient and spacious parking spaces at Boerderijrecreatie.
Farm recreation is located in the municipality of the Frisian lakes and is an hour's drive from Amsterdam, Utrecht, Zwolle, Groningen and Leeuwarden.
Unique party location
At Boerderijrecreatie we offer a unique party location in a more than 100 year old stelp farm. The location can be rented for weddings, parties, parties, activities or events.
